Teach Your Monster to Read (again)

Some of you may remember that I posted about the Teach Your Monster to Read on-line resource earlier this year.  It seems to have gone down well with the teachers who have tried it and I now have two pieces of news relating to it.

Teach Your Monster to Read

First of all, it’s now available as an iPad app (currently £2.99 in the app store).

Secondly,  Teach Your Monster to Read is launching a third game, ‘Champion Reader’ in early 2015 and they’re looking for teachers to give them feedback on it.  The game is in very early development and it would be a great opportunity for you to play the game and influence its development.

They are giving £100 of Usborne books to those schools that can help them. They’re looking for teachers who use Teach Your Monster to Read in school and are familiar with games 1 & 2. All you’ll need to do is spend 20 minutes playing the game, then they’ll have a phone call with you to feedback any thoughts and suggestions you have. The phone call will last for approximately 45 minutes.
