ICT and Inclusion

Some of you have probably heard of the annual ICT and Inclusion event organised by CALL Scotland.

This year, there will be two sessions – one in Edinburgh and one in Glasgow as below:

The event will feature a range of suppliers who will describe their key products in timetabled sessions.  There will also be short presentations by staff from CALL Scotland and local practitioners on how they use technology to aid inclusion in schools and colleges.  I spoke last year, as did colleagues from Prospect Bank and VTSS.

The days are free to attend and run from 8:45 am until 4 pm.  You will be able to register for the event from March, and I would strongly encourage you to do so, if you can.

In the meantime, however, CALL have asked me to help source some speakers – I will probably be there again, and I’d love some company!  Are you or your school, or is someone else that you know, doing something innovative/interesting with technology to support inclusion?  There is always a wide variety of topics and, for me, hearing from other practitioners is the highlight of the event.  So please, if you would like to speak at the event, do contact me.
